The "Deutschland Online 4" study

The study entitled "Deutschland Online 4" examines the current development stage of the German and international broadband market. The focus is on prospects and future trends through the year 2015. To this end, the study surveyed experts from the United States, Japan, South Korea and leading EU broadband nations on general developments and innovations as well as market competitiveness and selected topics within their respective sector. These expert findings were supplemented by an online consumer survey.

A total of 115 experts and 6,347 consumers were surveyed. The experts consisted of representatives from Internet companies and convergence players, supplemented by international experts from the fields of education, the job market, society and e-government. The study covers the topics of convergence and digitalization as an engine for the information society, Triple Play, Internet TV, Web 2.0, broadband Internet 3.0 (VDSL), plus education, work and the "digital lifestyle" within the context of the information society.

quoique VDSL tend à se transformer en plus rapide que ADSL et non pas une technologie.
